School Information
Welcome to Nine Mile Ride Primary School. We are a small primary school set in beautiful grounds with excellent resources. The two Foundation Reception classes have their own designated play area complete with a sand pit and many external play activities. There are four Key Stage 1 classrooms and five Key Stage 2 classrooms. All classes have access to a large hall where dance, drama and P.E are taught and where we hold our school assemblies. All children have access to the Food Tech area where we have a small but fully functioning kitchen. We have a fully operational commercial kitchen where the children's meals are freshly prepared daily, onsite. Within the school we have a newly refurbished ICT suite which is fully networked with 32 PCs. To complement our ICT suite, we also have 32 pupil laptops which can be used to enhance learning in the classroom. All teaching rooms in the school are equipped with interactive whiteboards and visualisers. We have a dedicated music room and a separate library.
The school grounds are very well maintained and include two designated adventure play areas, a pond, a quiet area, shaded picnic area, two tarmac playgrounds, a nature area, and a gardening area where the children can get involved in growing their own fruit and vegetables. With a large playing field for team sports and numerous shaded areas, we are very grateful to be able to offer wonderful learning opportunities across the whole school.
Nine Mile Ride offers a very popular after school club and has regular after school activities and sports clubs.
We offer support for families of children at Nine Mile Ride through the services of Victoria Kennedy, our Family Support Adviser.
