The children had a fantastic time ... the head chef demonstrated how they make pasta and bread and the children rolled up their sleeves and had a go themselves !!

The icing on the cake was to eat what they had prepared which was cooked infront on them by the restaurant's chefs.  Please click on the image to see some of the highlights from the day.

JANUARY 2010 - Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow ....

I'm sure you'll remember the harsh winter we had back in 2009/2010.  When the children were due back for the start of the new term, we were experiencing many inches of snow.   Thanks to incredible number of people who came to help, we managed to completely clear the main entrance playground, all the access routes, both the reception and infant playgrounds and half of the main playground.  It was hard work but everyone just got on with the task in hand and tirelessly dug, shovelled, swept, cleared and gritted.  Without this tremendous effort, we would have undoubtedly had difficulty opening the school so once again a very BIG THANK YOU to all who helped !!
